A light bulb came on inside Dawn’s head—maybe doctors really didn’t know what was causing her dis-ease. So she set out to find the answers for herself, and did she ever find them!
Dawn found that most diseases are listed as cause unknown. This got her to thinking, how can a doctor prescribe medicine and advocate surgery when he has absolutely no idea what is causing the disease? Drugs that people take are given to coverup symptoms, not to cure disease. Chemo and radiation treatments are palliative measures that only attempt to knock out cancer. Sometimes they work, but more often than not, they don’t. In fact, chemo and radiation often kills the patient, not the cancer itself.
Then, another light bulb illuminated—a diagnosis identifies the nature of an illness, it’s just a description. Most diagnoses do not tell how or why an illness begins. The true starting point or root of a disease (pathogenesis) is unidentified in a diagnosis. When a doctor diagnoses your problem, they’re just defining what the problem is.
Once again, cancer will be used as an example. Let’s say you’re diagnosed with breast cancer. The diagnosis of breast cancer is just a definition. But what caused the breast to become cancerous in the first place? Science says that the disease is caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells. Again, another definition. But what caused the cells to become abnormal? That is the question! But if scientists happen to find that some chemical reaction within the body caused the cells to abnormally mutate, what caused the chemical reaction to occur? Dawn soon realized that finding the root cause of her disorders was tantamount to curing her dis-ease.
After that, light bulbs shined so brightly that they were blinding! Why was Dawn depending on doctors to resolve her failing health? How did she expect some toxic little pill to take away all of her ills? If her health was failing, that must of meant that she was doing something wrong for it to fail. She soon understood that there is no way her body could arbitrarily decide on its own that it was going to turn against her for no reason at all. That would mean that she was electing to turn on herself without any forethought or knowledge. How preposterous! This made her realize that there had to be a definable reason that she was diseased and overweight. (Read more…)
