With the Supreme Court’s recent 5-4 approval of Obamacare as being a legal and just tax on the American people, the long-term ramifications of this policy are only beginning to surface.  While it may seem nice and deserving for those citizens who cannot afford health insurance, the new law “imposes” the burden of the new tax on the middle-class.  But didn’t Obama himself claim that Obamacare was not a tax?

I don’t know about you, but I’m a middle-classer.  And those in the middle-class that I know are already suffering tremendous financial burdens after the depression of 2008.  I know many without jobs.  I know many whose homes are in foreclosure.  I know many recent college grads who are unable to find descent work.  I know many adult children who are living at home.

IF the middle-class is called upon to give to the poor when the middle-class is already in a state of dire hardship, THEN the middle-class becomes poor as a result of it.  This new call for taxation imposes a new tax on a class already in distress, which can only result in the creation of not one lower-class sector of society, but two.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to readily see what will happen next.

With the Supreme Court ruling regarding Obamacare, the American people need to realize how important it is, now more than ever, to become a healthy nation!  The American people should focus on self-healing and preventative treatment, instead of drugging themselves to no avail.  To do this, Americans must understand the cause and effect of disease and obesity.

Our present-day healthcare system is in shambles.  Disease is out of control.  Obesity is quickly hedging toward the 70% level.  Drug use is at an all-time high.  It should be obvious to all concerned that our current way of doing things is not working.

In my new book WARNINGS of DiseaseI focus on the cause and effect of disease to reveal how obesity is the end result of improper consumption.  I was diagnosed with over 35 diseases and was overweight, yet doctors were unable to provide a direct cause.  Doctors prescribed dozens of drugs and advocated multiple surgeries, but I kept getting sicker.  So I decided to take matters into my own hands and to step away from the unknown.  I was tired of not knowing why I was sick.  I soon realized that since it was my body that was sick, there must be something that I was doing wrong that was making me to get sick.  This is the basis of cause and effect.

I realized that most doctors don’t care about why or how I got sick and gained weight.  All they care about is getting rid of the symptoms.  When a patient goes to a doctor with a complaint, the doctor gets out his prescription pad to authorize a drug that will coverup the malady.  And when drugs don’t help, he advocates surgery.  There is no cure involved.  There is no talk of prevention.  There is no talk about diet or exercise.  Here – just take this drug and I’ll see you in a month – when your prescription runs out.  This creates a medical paradigm (standard), which perpetuates sickness and disease!

When a patient buys into the model of perpetual disease, when they accept a doctor’s judgement (the diagnosis), then the patient becomes stuck in a perpetual state of dis-ease.  Good health is never the outcome.

In order to gain good health, we must do things that are good for us.  We need to eat healthy foods, not processed junk food.  We need to exercise, which is proven to be beneficial, not sit on our hind ends being idle.  We need to use non-toxic products, not ones full of cancer-causing ingredients.  We need to avoid toxic chemicals, altogether.

Once I came to understand the importance of taking care of my own body and then taking action to do so, I was CURED of my diseases, and I lost weight without even trying.  I no longer take any drugs.  I lost over 60 pounds.  And I have been healthy for the past 15 years.  As a result, I really resent our government dictating what kind and how much health insurance I must buy.

The newly legislated Obamacare is a travesty for an already sick and financially-burdened nation.  The demand that all citizens buy health insurance is touted as a new tax, but it opens the floodgates to our government being able to demand every citizen to buy homeowners’ insurance (to lighten the government burden of federally-backed loans), to buy flood insurance (a government program), to buy pet insurance (to lighten each municipality’s burden of animal control), etc.   At what point will our government’s demands stop?  We need to remember the definition of communism – A political theory advocating class war, which leads to a society in which all property is publicly owned and every person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.  Is this what the American people want?

I read an interview that was done with a doctor who has written a book about the asthma epidemic.  Here’s the link to the story: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2012-05-02/health/ct-x-0502-expert-apaliski-20120502_1_asthma-epidemic-asthma-rate-asthma-cases

It is reported that roughly 34 million Americans suffer with the affliction.  Asthma rates have jumped drastically since the 1980s, but researchers are still scratching their collective heads as to WHY.

Asthma is defined as a a respiratory condition of the lungs.  It is marked by spasms in the bronchi, which causes difficulty in breathing.  Notice that when a person is diagnosed with asthma, the diagnosis is nothing more than a definition of a problem.  That’s all a diagnosis is—a definition.  A diagnosis has nothing to do with a cure.  But also notice that the definition of asthma, the diagnosis, does not prove pathogenesis—the true starting point of disease.

During the interview, the doctor said that while there are many theories for the condition, no one really knows what causes asthma.  His recommendation, as an allergy and asthma expert, for combatting asthma attacks is to have a plan in place to control the symptoms.  His plan includes taking drugs and avoiding triggers.  He also noted that we [I’m assuming he meant—doctors] have the “best medication and the best understanding” of the disease.

What’s wrong with this picture?  Approximately 34 MILLION Americans suffer with symptoms of asthma.  About 4000 people die each year from asthma-related symptoms.  Having the so-called “best medication and best understanding of the disease” has done absolutely NOTHING to CURE asthma—nothing!  In fact, incidents of asthma are rising—drastically.

But there is a further definition of asthma that should be noted—it usually results from an allergic reaction or other form of hypersensitivity.  This is science’s attempt to state pathogenesis, without actually doing so.

The doctor in the interview noted that people suffering with asthma should avoid triggers.  He discussed perfumes and colognes, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as being triggers for asthma attacks.  Note that these “triggers” are chemical compounds.  But also note that drugs, including those used to cover-up asthma symptoms, are also chemical compounds.

In my new book, WARNINGS of Disease: Your Body Uses Symptoms to Communicate, I describe how asthma medications that contain sulfates (albuterol sulfate, salbutamol sulfate, and terbutaline sulfate), which most do, can actually cause breathing difficulties and swelling in the throat.  In other words, the drugs that are used to treat asthma can be the precipitator for it!

The human body reacts to poisonous compounded chemicals by initiating the inflammatory response, otherwise known as an allergic reaction.  If the body is continually exposed to toxic chemicals, it can become hypersensitive to them.

However, there are other toxic chemicals that can also be responsible for causing asthma that are seldom contemplated by researchers—toxic food additives found in processed foods and drinks.

Back in the early 1990s, my son was diagnosed with asthma.  When I changed our diets and lifestyle habits to include nothing but whole foods void of synthetic chemical food additives, his asthma completely went away.  If you’d like to read more about his story and my experience with conquering devastating disease, please read my new book WARNINGS of Disease.

Millions of people are searching for the answer—what is pain?—because untold millions are suffering in pain.  Pain relievers are the number one drug sold in America.  Today’s Google search for “What is pain?” produced 776,000,000 results.

If you read my last blog post on word studies, I defined the word SYMPTOM.  Today, let’s look at the word PAIN.

PAIN is physical suffering or discomfort caused by illness or injury.  Pain comes from the Latin word poena ‘penalty.’   Penalty is another word worthy of consideration and we’ll look at it in just a minute.

Synonyms for PAIN include suffering, affliction, and torment.  Lengthy word studies on the origin of each of these words begins to paint a picture—pain is something that we give birth to, and it is the product of our labors, or fruits of our action.  In other words, we ourselves, are responsible for our own pain.  What?

This is where most people will immediately begin to make excuses for themselves:  “I have a disease that causes my pain.”  “I had an accident or injury 20 years ago and I’m still suffering in pain.”  “I have no control over my headaches.”  “I didn’t ask for fibromyalgia, it just happened to me.”  “My pain is caused by multiple sclerosis.”  And so on.  But notice the main subject in each of those statements “I, my, and me.”

In my new book WARNINGS of Disease, I discuss the word pathogen.  Science defines pathogen as a bacterium, virus, or other microorganism that can cause disease.  However, the Greek roots of the word PATHOGEN are pathos ‘suffering, passion’ and gignomai ‘I give birth to.’  From a medical perspective, a pathogen is thought to be a germ that causes disease to the host, but from the Greek roots of the word we find a rather different explanation.

Pathogen means that not only are we capable of giving birth to passion (love), we are also responsible for giving birth to suffering (our afflictions).  Since both infection and acquired disease begin on the inside of our body and work their way out, it might be concluded that we are responsible for our own suffering.

Now let’s look at the word PENALTY.  Synonyms include punishment, punitive action (disciplinary correction), and retribution—punishment that is considered to be morally right and fully deserved.  A penalty is punishment that is imposed for breaking a law, rule, or contract.

What we see here is that PAIN is the PENALTY for wrongful action—the breaking of rules.  As mentioned, we are responsible for our pain!  But whose rules are we breaking in order to suffer the penalty that results in pain—that is the question?  They [the rules] are the one’s of the universe, the laws of order—the body of divine commandment, otherwise known as God.  When we choose to go against order, what God ordained, we create and cause disorder.  Once I came to understand this very important truth, I was then able to look for, and find, the exact cause of my 35 diagnosed diseases, along with MS, Parkinson’s, or Lou Gehrig’s disease being the suspected culprit for my 36th affliction.

But what is an AFFLICTION?  Affliction is a disorder, disease, or illness that results in pain, suffering, and torment.  Seems like we’ve seen these words before!  When we suffer with PAIN, whether it is from an illness, disease, or disorder—”I give birth to suffering (my afflictions)”  becomes the main subject matter once again.

Once I established that I was responsible for my own PAIN (suffering), the healing process was initiated.  Since I no longer had anything to blame for my pain other than myself, I was no longer able to produce excuses for it (my pain).  And one thing that I have learned during my lifetime—excuses are futile and pointless!

This meant that I had to look deep within to find the real reason for my PAIN.  Again, notice the subject matter—I and my—it was my pain and I was to blame.

According to science, PAIN is caused by illness or injury.  So why do people live in pain for 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 years?  By all rights, an illness lasts for a period of time and the body is then healed.  If not, death is the probable outcome.  But if an injury never heals, death is most assuredly imminent.

I used to live in PAIN 24/7.  Each pain that I bore was judged by doctors (Man) and was given a name to blame, otherwise known as a diagnosis.  Keep in mind that “to bear” means to give birth to…

But after I did a word study on diagnosis, I learned what a diagnosis truly is.  It is nothing more than the identification of the nature of an illness or problem by characterizing the symptoms.  In other words, a diagnosis is just a definition.  And when a diagnosis is rendered, it is nothing more than a judgment of Man, an opinion.  More importantly, an opinion is not necessarily based on fact.  But I wanted to get to the bottom of my infirmities—I wanted the truth!

When I accepted Man’s judgment every time I experienced pain, I blamed the name that was given to it.  But what did that get me?  I was still in PAIN and I was still suffering.  Doctors diagnosed my afflictions.  Doctors gave me drugs.  Doctors performed surgeries.  But I was still in PAIN!  So that meant that a piece of the puzzle was still missing.

As a Forensic Document Examiner, I love to solve puzzles!   So I got to work.  What pieces did I have to work with?

  • I was in PAIN.
  • I was sick, diseased, and miserable.
  • I was overweight.
  • Through pathos and gignomai, I learned that I was continually giving birth to my afflictions through my actions.
  • I was suffering with some type of illness or injury that by all rights should have healed with time.
  • Something that I was doing wrong was causing PAIN in my life.
Then I discovered it!  I found the missing piece of the puzzle—something I was putting into my body was causing disorder.  After that, I commenced doing 15 years of scientific research to verify what I’d found.  I found what causes PAIN.  I found what was causing my body’s many afflictions, and I found that it is causing great unrest in millions of others, as well.  But through it all what I ultimately found was that the source of my PAIN was me!  To be continued…
