It certainly worked for me!  After spending the first 40 years of life going to countless doctors, taking their prescribed drugs, and submitting to their advocated surgeries, I was sicker than ever and my body was failing fast.  I suffered with over 100 symptoms and was diagnosed with roughly 35 incurable diseases—including heart disease and neurological disorder.  I was also overweight.

It wasn’t until I threw up my hands in disgust and walked away from the medical dominion while turning to a chiropractor/homeopath for help, that my body and health began to improve by leaps and bounds.  Within a few short months every diagnosed “incurable” disease and 60 pounds simply vanished.  That was back in 1996, and I’ve been healthy ever since.

The health and obesity epidemics in America are growing at an alarming rate.  What family has not been touched by the ravages of obesity or disease?  Perhaps the question more people should be asking themselves is, “Are medical doctors and pharmaceutical drugs helping to alleviate the health and obesity crises in America?”  The obvious answer here is a resounding, “NO!”

According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, National Institutes of Health, “chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure—mainly the spine—and its functioning.”  Chiropractors use a variety of treatment options with their primary goal being to correct alignment problems, alleviate pain, improve body function, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

For decades, chiropractors have been faced with heavy opposition from so-called organized medicine.  But if organized medicine is so ordered, regulated, and well run, why are disease and obesity at pandemic levels?  A longstanding feud between medical doctors and chiropractors continued for decades.  Perhaps doctors are afraid that if disease is controlled through natural means, their professions would be at stake?  Just a thought.

In a 1987 landmark case, Wilk vs AMA, the court found that “the AMA had engaged in unreasonable restraint of trade and conspiracy.”  Thus ended the “AMA’s de facto boycott of chiropractic.”

According to a 2007 National Health Interview Survey, people commonly seek chiropractic care for low-back pain, musculoskeletal pain, headaches, and extremity problems.  Of the survey respondents, 74% had used chiropractic and 66% reported “great benefit” from their treatments.

As to the safety of chiropractic treatment, a 2007 study of 19,722 chiropractic patients in the UK concluded that the risk of an adverse event after an adjustment was “low to very low.”  A 2009 study in Ontario, Canada, drawing from 9 years of records which analyzed 818 cases of vertebrobasilar artery stroke (VBA), found that there was “no evidence that visiting a chiropractor put people at greater risk than visiting a primary care physician.”

But I’m here to ask—How many men, women, and children have died in the hands of a medical doctor?  How many men, women, and children have died as a result of prescribed drugs?  And how many men, women, and children died as the result of some medical surgery?  Too many to count.

In an interesting article titled Death by Medicine, we see where regulatory agencies try to squash all natural methods of healing, yet ignore the fact that government-sanctioned medicine poses a greater risk.

Twenty years ago, a chiropractor prescribed regular chiropractic adjustments along with a host of natural supplements.  I switched to a chemical-free lifestyle and a whole-food diet.  Within 11 months, my body totally healed itself!  By avoiding medical doctors and prescription drugs and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I have remained healthy and happy ever since.  Does chiropractic work?  You bet!

There is a chemical used in nearly every manufacturing process worldwide that should be of concern to us all — FORMALDEHYDE.  Formaldehyde is a pungent gas used in many chemical compounds, especially plastics and resins.  When added to water, it’s called formalin — often used in the manufacture of drugs and vaccines.  In 2005, world production was estimated to be 50 billion pounds.  The manufacture of formaldehyde is BIG BUSINESS.

On June 10, 2011, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued their 12th Report on Carcinogens (RoC) from the National Toxicology Program.   The RoC is a science-based, public health document, mandated by Congress.  Formaldehyde is on the list.  Why is this significant?  The RoC identifies toxic agents, substances, compounds, and exposure circumstances that are known or reasonably anticipated to cause cancer in humans.

Some of formaldehyde’s many uses include:  woodworking, cabinet making, glues that bond particle board, plywood, carpeting, sanitary paper products, facial tissue, table napkins, paper towels,  insulation, moulded products, paints, explosives, foams, bath products, baby products, counter tops, veneers, laminates, complex plastic and resin compounds, textiles, sizing, no-iron clothing, in the manufacture of automobiles, as a disinfectant because it kills most bacteria and fungi, in medicine to dry the skin such as wart remover, as a treatment for parasites, toxoid vaccines, urinary tract infection treatments, topical creams, cosmetics, personal hygiene products, shampoo, embalming agents, as a fixative for microscopy and histology, and the list goes on…

Have you ever suffered with any of these symptoms?

  • Eye, nose, and throat irritations (inappropriately reasoned to be caused by the common cold)
  • Headaches
  • Skin rashes or hives
  • Burnt esophagus
  • Burnt stomach
  • Hypotension
  • Heart arrhythmia
  • Irregular/difficulty breathing
  • Restlessness
  • Red blood cell destruction
  • Unconsciousness
  • Coma

These are ALL symptoms of FORMALDEHYDE POISONING.  Were you aware that these symptoms can be attributed to formaldehyde exposure, and even worse, that formaldehyde is KNOWN TO CAUSE CANCER?  In view of formaldehydes widespread use, this should be of major concern to all people.

As can be expected, when the National Toxicology Program released the 12th RoC, formaldehyde manufacturers were greatly offended.  Perhaps offended isn’t the correct word.  Maybe alarmed might be more appropriate.  After all, the manufacture of formaldehyde is BIG BUSINESS.  Whenever a conglomerate’s mainstay is in question, of course they’re going to be concerned…

Here we see that the American Chemistry Council (ACC) issued a counter-attack, telling us how they think that formaldehyde is just peachy-keen.  But wouldn’t we expect manufacturers to sing the praises of their products?

On the ACC website back in 2011 after the 12th RoC was issued, they called for an immediate appeal of the carcinogen ruling, and even went so far as to say that the manufacture of formaldehyde produces hundreds of thousands of jobs each year — as if that’s supposed to appease the issue?  Well, apparently their appeal was heard by the FDA!  Leave it to the good, old FDA to look out for the welfare of the American people.  Yes, I’m being facetious.  After all, the FDA is BIG BUSINESS, too.

The ACC website has changed since last year after the U.S. Department of HHS issued a NTP Addendum leaving formaldehyde on the known to cause cancer list.  However, the ACC has another site, which they call formaldehydefacts.org, that once again sings the praises of formaldehyde.  But the question remains—whose “facts” can be trusted?  The manufacturer’s? Probably not.

I recently noticed increased lobbying efforts and large presidential campaign donations have been  bouncing around and flying under the radar this summer.  In fact, the FDA ruled earlier this year on Bisphenol A (BPA), which contain formaldehyde, as, how shall we say — safe — by stating, “The Food and Drug Administration’s assessment is that the scientific evidence at this time does not suggest that the very low levels of human exposure to BPA through the diet are unsafe.”   Really?  Not enough evidence?  Suggests?  Very low levels?  At this time?  Exactly whose data is the FDA reviewing?  The RoC is issued by a government organization based on science-based fact.  The FDA’s statement was proudly displayed on the ACCs website devoted to “their” facts about BPA.  Again, wouldn’t we expect a manufacturer to say their products are safe?  But just saying it doesn’t necessarily make it so!  Wouldn’t you think that the FDA would understand this simple truth?

In the meantime, Johnson & Johnson, which makes a wide range of personal care products including many baby products, announced that it would remove a host of harmful chemicals (including formaldehyde) from their product line by 2015.  They had “already pledged to remove certain chemicals from its baby products by 2013,” according to a NY Times article on August 15, 2012.

If BIG BUSINESS pledges to remove toxic chemicals from their products, wouldn’t this imply that there must be something wrong with the toxin?  No matter how many lobbying efforts and campaign contributions are made, the facts are the facts — toxic chemical compounds cause disorder and cancer.

I could go on and on regarding this subject, but I feel a need to close.  Fifteen years ago I suffered with over 35 diagnosed diseases and over 100 debilitating symptoms.  I also suffered with several bad cases of FORMALDEHYDE POISONING.  My experience from debilitating illness and weight gain to good health and natural weight loss are detailed in my new book WARNINGS of Disease: Your Body Uses Symptoms to Communicate; How Junk Food, Drugs, and Toxic Products Provide It with Plenty to Say.  It is available through DaKeMaNi Publishing or on Amazon.

The next time you suffer with ANY of the symptoms listed above, I hope you’ll remember that symptoms do not just happen—they happen for a reason.  The human body communicates through its symptoms whenever the body is exposed to an injury or a toxin.  If you can rule out injury, then exposure to toxic chemicals is the only thing that’s left.  Sometimes, we need to act as detectives to figure out what’s causing our illness by examining all of the clues.  (Another name for clue is warning.)   I changed my lifestyle and eating habits and over 35 diagnosed diseases and 100 symptoms simply went away, and I’ve been healthy ever since.  I listened to what my body was telling me—through its symptoms—and heeded my own warnings…

After a canoe trip, my eyes began to itch like mad.  The next morning I awoke to see an extremely red eye with lots of mucous.  Over the next several days the itching became intense and my right eye began to swell.  I could see bruising in the corner of my right eye, which was spreading down below it.  There was blood leaking under my skin.  I began to wonder if I had picked up some type of bacteria from the river water, or that perhaps some pathogen may have blown into my eyes from the windy prairie beside the river where the cattle graze.  This thought caused concern so I picked up the phone and called the doctor.

Afterward I made the appointment I knew that I should not have made it, but it was too late to cancel.  I knew that I should have looked for the true cause of the problem.  I needed to get to the root of the problem.  And I knew that I should have given my body the time it needed to heal itself.  But I panicked, as we have been programed to do when it comes to any problem the body encounters.

This is where I should add that I am opposed to taking any and all drugs.  After doing research on diseases and drugs over the past 15 years, I know how toxic drugs can be!  You can read more about toxicity in my book, WARNINGS of Disease.

During the doctor’s appointment, I briefly explained why I had made the appointment.  I detailed my medical history and discussed my book.  After examination, the doctor offered a prescription for an antibiotic, which I declined.  She offered a prescription for an antihistamine, which I also declined.  She offered a prescription for an anti-inflammatory, but I declined that, too.  Then the doctor offered a prescription for a steroidal eye drop to stop the itching, which I vehemently declined.

After the doctor had exhausted her standard protocol, she realized that I was not going to take any of the drugs that she had to offer.  She then said that the eye did not appear to be infected (which I already knew), and she said that it did not appear to be bacterial, which is what I wanted to hear!   With that, I thanked her and quickly headed for the door.  The doctor told me that the eye should heal itself (no kidding!), but if the problem persisted, I should come back for further testing.

Afterwards, I was remorseful that I had wasted time and money going to the doctor because I knew that going to the doctor meant prescription drugs and taking medical tests.  But I was thankful that the doctor had the wherewithal to tell me that the eye could heal itself and for the opportunity to share details of my new book.

The itching, redness, and swelling around my right eye continued…

This is where I should add that even though I have eyeglasses, I seldom wear them anymore.  My eyesight has progressively improved over the years, which I attribute to healthy eating.  Earlier this year, I broke down and went to the eye doctor to get a new pair of glasses because the ones I had were much too strong.

At the eye doctor, I made it be known that I wanted just a visual eye exam, as it was done in days gone by before the advent of fancy medical machinery and the push of pharmaceutical drugs.  I declined all of the eye drops and various tests that they had to offer.   The eye doctor was surprised to see that my vision had improved, but was even more surprised to see that an astigmatism had gone away.  I asked her if she had ever seen an astigmatism go away and she said no, they usually get worse.  I proceeded to tell her about my new book and we talked about healthy eating for awhile.

Note that these two events, the canoe trip and the eye doctor appointment, happened around the same time…

I spent several days at home without putting on my eyeglasses.  I noticed that the itching, redness, and swelling had declined.  I thought perhaps my body had finally fought off whatever it had come into contact with that was causing the problem.  As I was getting ready to go to church one morning, I put on my new eyeglasses and my right eye immediately began to itch.  I thought, hmmm.  That night, the itching, redness, and swelling returned and it took every bit of will power not to scratch my right eye out of its socket!

The next morning as I was getting ready to leave the house, I put on my new glasses and the itching became acute right where the pads of the eyeglasses touched the bridge of my nose.  I took off the glasses and the itching was not as fierce.  I put them back on, and the itching intensified.  I thought to myself, “The pads of the eyeglasses are toxic!”

I quit wearing my new eyeglasses for a couple of weeks and the itching, redness, and swelling went away.   Then, I went back to the eye doctor to see if I could get the pads replaced with something else.  When I explained why I was at the doctor’s office without an appointment, they said “No problem.  We’ll just replace the pads with hypoallergenic ones.”  I was told that the pads that came with the glasses were made from vinyl and that I was lucky that I didn’t have any raw, oozing, infected skin from the reaction, like so many people have.

Lucky??  How many people suffer through the same reaction to toxic vinyl eyeglass pads without ever knowing what is causing their problem?  How many people go to their physician complaining of itching, redness, swelling, and inflammation of the eyes, only to come out loaded down with prescription antibiotics, antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and steroidal drugs, which do nothing but cover up the symptoms?  Why are toxic eyeglass pads even used if eye doctors know that they cause serious reactions?  And why don’t medical doctors know about this?

The whole point is, my body was presenting with symptoms telling me that something that I was doing was wrong.  The redness, swelling, itching, and inflammation were all WARNING signs.  Had I not known any better, I would have fallen victim to medical protocol.

Had I kept wearing the eyeglasses without searching for the true cause of my problem, the itching, redness, swelling, and inflammation would have continued and become more acute.  Then, I would have been sent to an ophthalmologist for further medical testing and most assuredly, more potent drugs would have been prescribed.  As the problem persisted, surgery might even have been advocated.

By looking for, and finding, what was actually causing my symptoms, I was able to remove the cause and therefore effect a cure!  My new book, WARNINGS of Disease, details the cause and effect of disease.  Our body uses symptoms to communicate.  It is up to us to listen to what is being said, and to take action to remedy the situation.

With the Supreme Court’s recent 5-4 approval of Obamacare as being a legal and just tax on the American people, the long-term ramifications of this policy are only beginning to surface.  While it may seem nice and deserving for those citizens who cannot afford health insurance, the new law “imposes” the burden of the new tax on the middle-class.  But didn’t Obama himself claim that Obamacare was not a tax?

I don’t know about you, but I’m a middle-classer.  And those in the middle-class that I know are already suffering tremendous financial burdens after the depression of 2008.  I know many without jobs.  I know many whose homes are in foreclosure.  I know many recent college grads who are unable to find descent work.  I know many adult children who are living at home.

IF the middle-class is called upon to give to the poor when the middle-class is already in a state of dire hardship, THEN the middle-class becomes poor as a result of it.  This new call for taxation imposes a new tax on a class already in distress, which can only result in the creation of not one lower-class sector of society, but two.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to readily see what will happen next.

With the Supreme Court ruling regarding Obamacare, the American people need to realize how important it is, now more than ever, to become a healthy nation!  The American people should focus on self-healing and preventative treatment, instead of drugging themselves to no avail.  To do this, Americans must understand the cause and effect of disease and obesity.

Our present-day healthcare system is in shambles.  Disease is out of control.  Obesity is quickly hedging toward the 70% level.  Drug use is at an all-time high.  It should be obvious to all concerned that our current way of doing things is not working.

In my new book WARNINGS of DiseaseI focus on the cause and effect of disease to reveal how obesity is the end result of improper consumption.  I was diagnosed with over 35 diseases and was overweight, yet doctors were unable to provide a direct cause.  Doctors prescribed dozens of drugs and advocated multiple surgeries, but I kept getting sicker.  So I decided to take matters into my own hands and to step away from the unknown.  I was tired of not knowing why I was sick.  I soon realized that since it was my body that was sick, there must be something that I was doing wrong that was making me to get sick.  This is the basis of cause and effect.

I realized that most doctors don’t care about why or how I got sick and gained weight.  All they care about is getting rid of the symptoms.  When a patient goes to a doctor with a complaint, the doctor gets out his prescription pad to authorize a drug that will coverup the malady.  And when drugs don’t help, he advocates surgery.  There is no cure involved.  There is no talk of prevention.  There is no talk about diet or exercise.  Here – just take this drug and I’ll see you in a month – when your prescription runs out.  This creates a medical paradigm (standard), which perpetuates sickness and disease!

When a patient buys into the model of perpetual disease, when they accept a doctor’s judgement (the diagnosis), then the patient becomes stuck in a perpetual state of dis-ease.  Good health is never the outcome.

In order to gain good health, we must do things that are good for us.  We need to eat healthy foods, not processed junk food.  We need to exercise, which is proven to be beneficial, not sit on our hind ends being idle.  We need to use non-toxic products, not ones full of cancer-causing ingredients.  We need to avoid toxic chemicals, altogether.

Once I came to understand the importance of taking care of my own body and then taking action to do so, I was CURED of my diseases, and I lost weight without even trying.  I no longer take any drugs.  I lost over 60 pounds.  And I have been healthy for the past 15 years.  As a result, I really resent our government dictating what kind and how much health insurance I must buy.

The newly legislated Obamacare is a travesty for an already sick and financially-burdened nation.  The demand that all citizens buy health insurance is touted as a new tax, but it opens the floodgates to our government being able to demand every citizen to buy homeowners’ insurance (to lighten the government burden of federally-backed loans), to buy flood insurance (a government program), to buy pet insurance (to lighten each municipality’s burden of animal control), etc.   At what point will our government’s demands stop?  We need to remember the definition of communism – A political theory advocating class war, which leads to a society in which all property is publicly owned and every person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.  Is this what the American people want?
